We have been making gaskets for over 50 years and have a skilled team that can manufacture vintage and classic car gaskets from templates, drawing or the physical components. Whether producing a one-off or a large batch, we apply the same meticulous approach, in many cases hand-finishing the components.

Typically fabricated from composite materials, more traditional metals such as copper or combinations of the two.

Exhaust Gaskets

We manufacture a wide range of exhaust head gaskets, often in steel or copper to suit the components of the vintage vehicle.

Manifold Gaskets

Manifold and non-asbestos or auto specific compound materials.

Sump Gaskets

Sump gaskets are often manufactured from oils, fuel and alkali resistant composite materials such as nitrile bonded cork.

The Manufacture of Vintage Engine Gaskets

Over the years, we’ve worked with individuals and bulk customers, such as car clubs or vehicle component suppliers, to fabricate head, exhaust, sump and manifold gaskets for a multitude of classic cars including Bentley, Rolls Royce, Hillman and many others.

Manufacturing Process

We combine modern manufacturing using CAD and CNC or die-cutting, along with traditional hand-finishing skills to ensure the finished quality of the gasket. Our process typically includes:

1. Your drawing, gasket or component is planned out in CAD
2. We help you select the right material
3.We sometimes create templates for client approval prior to manufacture.
4. The approved gasket is either cut using die cut, CNC machine or water jet.
5. The gasket is finished, often by hand, including deburring
6. The finished gasket is closely checked against the original

The Types of Vintage Vehicle Gaskets we Fabricate

We recently produced a short run of head gaskets for the Rolls Royce owners club, and regularly produce gaskets for all types of engines, exhaust systems and transmissions. Our clients have included automotive manufacturers, classic car clubs, vintage motorcycle clubs and vintage marine boat organisations. We’ve also fabricated engine and vehicle gaskets for the farming sector and where older engines are used in heavy industry.
